Poultry Hill Student Housing

Situated in the dry hilly terrain of the Palouse, the Poultry Hill is currently used as the Frisbee Golf Field. However, the university has a plan to convert it into a new student housing complex to be prefabricated using its own design-build facility located inside.

The housing typology attempts to encourage student’s collaboration through a network of distributed urban farms. The private room’s locations revolve around these plants platforms which form interlocking units. With the units being porous, landscape cloud flow inside; challenging the boundary between community and each private unit.
