My name is Thanawat (Bom) Phituksithkasem, an architect from Bangkok, Thailand currently living in New York City. I just graduated from Columbia GSAPP’s Urban Design program with focuses on community resilience, climate adaptation and spatial analysis. As an architect and urban designer, I see built environments as systems as well as places that can improve people's lives from the scale of individuals to the society.
Prior to coming to the United States, I worked in design-build industry for 5 years in Thailand where I was experienced in every stage from schematic design to construction administration. Having worked in a small team, I took pride in the ownership and responsibility of several large-scale projects. On the side note, I like theater, singing, and photography.
